The photo depicts an hydraulically actuated multiple clamping device with two clamping levels.
Clamping level 1: three-jaw chuck with integrated cylinder, angled jaw guide, external clamping and manual lubrication via lubricating nipples on the base jaws. The work piece is drawn to the work piece support via down-pull.
The clamping level includes three-jaw chucks with integrated cylinders which clamp the work piece to the work piece support from the outside via angled jaw guides with down-pull effect. Lubrication is performed manually via the base jaws.
Clamping level 2: the work piece is positioned on the work piece support using alignment pins and centred via collets, face clamping is via swivel clamps at three points.
In the second clamping level the work piece is positioned on the work piece support using alignment pins and centred via collets. Face clamping is via swivel clamps at three points.
