A mechanically actuated collet stud chuck for external clamping. The collet studs and the clamping jaws are illustrated without clamping inserts here. At a diameter of 130 mm, the GHZ-3B achieves a radial jaw stroke of 2 mm at a piston stroke of 6.5 mm. Lubrication is via lubrication nipples on the chuck body.
